The Israeli occupation forces have arrested 16 Palestinians, among them former prisoners, in the West Bank since Saturday until Sunday, according to a joint statement by the Palestinian commission of prisoners and ex-prisoners' affairs and the Palestinian prisoners club. The statement added that the arrests were mainly focused on the governorates of Jerusalem, Qalqilya, Nablus, Hebron, and Jenin, followed by assaults and threats against detainees and their families, along with large-scale vandalism and destruction of the Palestinian homes. Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on Oct.7, 2023, the occupation forces have arrested over 10,000 Palestinians in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and continue to conduct extensive acts of mistreatment, followed by assaults and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread vandalism and destruction of Palestinian homes.
