Israeli soldier killed in southern Gaza battles, total reaches 690

The Israeli army announced today, Monday, the death of a soldier in its ranks, during the battles taking place in the southern Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of army casualties since October 7 to 690. The Israeli army allowed the publication of the news of the death of Sergeant Omer Ginzberg (19 years old), from Kiryat Tivon, a fighter in the 101st Battalion of the Paratroopers Brigade, who was killed yesterday, Sunday, in a battle in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli army announced on Sunday in a statement that it is continuing its operations in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip. In the latest update on its website, the Israeli army announced that the number of its dead since the beginning of the war on October 7 is 690; including 330 since the beginning of the ground maneuver inside the Strip on October 27, 2023.
