Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda today honoured Mohammed Adnan Al Maawda, who finished second in the 43rd edition of King Abdulaziz International Competition 43rd King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran.
Participants representing 117 countries from different parts of the word took part in the international competition, which was organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He also honoured Shaikh Musab Al Buarki for his support to second-placed Mohammed Adnan Al Maawda who memorized the whole Quran. .
The minister hailed Bahraini participants’ honourable results, in light of the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Present were Undersecretary Judge Isa bin Sami Al Mannai and Quran Affairs Director Abdulla Al Qattar, in addition to other officials and the winner’s father.
