Doha: Jordanian King Abdullah II stressed, during a phone call today with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, the need to ensure the implementation of the agreement to end the war in Gaza in all its stages and to adhere to the ceasefire in order to achieve the desired calm.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the call, the Jordanian monarch stressed the need to intensify international efforts to provide humanitarian response in Gaza and to deliver aid to all areas without interruption.

He warned of the danger of unilateral measures in the West Bank and Jerusalem, stressing the importance of working to create a political horizon to achieve a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
