Kurdistan announces the arrest of “Socrates”… Al-Baghdadi’s right-hand man

The Kurdistan Region Security Council announced today, Friday, the arrest of Socrates Khalil, the right-hand man of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who played a prominent role in controlling the city of Mosul in 2014. A statement by the Region's Security Council stated, "The senior terrorist named (Socrates Khalil), known as (Abdullah Taffikh), was a person very close and trusted by the leader of ISIS." The terrorist's confessions showed that after spending five years in Turkey, he returned to the Kurdistan region with a forged passport, and was immediately arrested inside one of the areas of the region. Socrates Khalil, known as 'Abdullah Taffikh', worked when he joined the ranks of ISIS in the field of booby-trapping, and Al-Baghdadi assigned him many terrorist missions. He was assigned a prominent role in the mission of controlling the city of Mosul, and he participated in the majority of the organization's battles, against the Iraqi forces and the Peshmerga.
