Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher as All Share Index Gains 46.81 Points

Kuwait City: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Tuesday with an increase in the All Share Index by 46.81 points, reaching a total of 7,530.52 points, marking a rise of 0.63 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed the exchange of 323.4 million shares valued at KWD 77.7 million, approximately USD 239.3 million, across 18,136 transactions. The Main Market Index experienced an increase of 42.12 points, climbing to 7,116.16 points, which is a 0.60 percent rise. This was achieved through the trading of 202.7 million shares in 10,107 transactions, with a value of KWD 36.2 million, roughly USD 111.4 million.

The Premier Market Index also saw an upward movement, gaining 50.32 points to settle at 8,004.04, reflecting a 0.63 percent increase. Trading involved 120.6 million shares across 8,029 transactions, amounting to KWD 41.5 million, or approximately USD 127.8 million.

Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index rose by 14 points to reach 7,116.47 points, an increase of 0.20 percent. This was achieved through a stock volume of 138.2 million shares, completed in 6,108 deals with a value of KWD 28.7 million, about USD 88.3 million.
