Kuwait Bourse Records Marginal Decline as All Share Index Falls.

Kuwait: The Kuwait Bourse concluded its trading session on a lower note as the All Share Index experienced a decrease of 7.42 points, settling at 7,124.10 points, marking a 0.10 percent drop. A total of 281.6 million shares were traded, with a transaction value of KWD 50.4 million, approximately equivalent to USD 153.7 million, across 15,055 transactions. According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index also saw a decline, falling by 37.36 points to reach 6,439.85 points, representing a 0.58 percent decrease. This was achieved through the trading of 185.4 million shares in 8,963 transactions, with a total value of KWD 23.7 million, or roughly USD 72.2 million. In contrast, the Premier Market Index showed a slight increase, rising by 0.16 points to settle at 7,649.45. The trading volume for this index included 96.2 million shares over 6,092 transactions, with a total value of KWD 26.7 million, approximately USD 81.4 million. Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index experienced a decline of 45.68 points, closing at 6,326 points, a 0.72 percent decrease. This was based on a stock volume of 106 million shares transacted in 4,730 deals, valued at KWD 14.3 million, roughly USD 43.6 million.
