Kuwait Bourse Records Notable Decline

Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Monday with the All Share Index losing 15.01 points, ending at 8,893.29 points, marking a decrease of 0.17 percent.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 650.2 million shares were traded, with a value of KWD 125.4 million (approximately USD 410.1 million), across 32,386 transactions. The Main Market Index also saw a decline, going down by 13.99 points to 8,591.07 points, which is a 0.16 percent drop. This involved 394 million shares exchanged through 18,689 transactions, valued at KWD 54.6 million (around USD 178.5 million).

The Premier Market Index fell by 16.01 points to settle at 9,419.10 points, representing a 0.17 percent decrease. This was achieved through the trading of 256.1 million shares across 13,697 transactions, with a total value of KWD 70.8 million (approximately USD 231.5 million). Additionally, the Bourse Main 50 Index recorded a loss of 72.16 points, reaching 9,400.03 points, a decline of 0.76 percent. This occurred through a stock volume of 300.9 million shares conducted in 13,485 deals, amounting to KWD 42 million (roughly USD 137.3 million).
