Kuwait: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Thursday as the All Share Index gained 44.32 points to reach 7,157.72 points, an increase of 0.62 percent. As many as 538.4 million shares valued at KWD 109.4 million (roughly USD 333.6 million) were traded via 21,557 transactions. According to Qatar News Agency, the Main Market Index went up by 16.01 points to reach 6,523.75 points, an increase of 0.25 percent, through 304.9 million shares done via 11,407 transactions valued at KWD 38.9 million (roughly USD 118.6 million). The Premier Market Index showed a notable increase, going up by 53.97 points to reach 7,671.36, an increase of 0.71 percent through 233.4 million shares done via 10,150 transactions valued at KWD 70.5 million (roughly USD 128.4 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index gained 8.0 points to reach 6,419.99 points, an increase of 0.12 percent, through stock volume of 235 million shares done in 8,060 deals at a value of KWD 29.5 million (roughly USD 89.9 million).
