Kuwait city: Kuwait Bourse closed trading on Wednesday as the All Share Index gained 67.80 points to reach 8,773.34 points, an increase of 0.78 percent.
According to Qatar News Agency, 410.7 million shares valued at KWD 106.4 million (roughly USD 344.3 million) were traded via 25,958 transactions. The Main Market Index rose by 101.40 points, reaching 8,105.52 points, up by 1.27 percent, with 255.9 million shares executed through 13,652 transactions valued at KWD 33.8 million (roughly USD 109.2 million).
The Premier Market Index also saw gains, adding 64.15 points to reach 9,370.71 points, an increase of 0.69 percent. This was achieved through the trading of 154.8 million shares in 12,306 transactions valued at KWD 72.6 million (roughly USD 234.8 million).
Meanwhile, the Main 50 Index climbed by 147.25 points, reaching 8,902.63 points, up by 1.68 percent. A total of 236 million shares were traded in 11,508 deals, amounting to a value of KWD 31 million (roughly USD 100.3 million).
