Qatar Development Bank (QDB) announced the launch of the seventh edition of the Qatar Entrepreneurship Conference “Rowad Qatar 2021” under the slogan Digital Transformation and the New Economy: Opportunities for Innovation and Prosperity, which will be held during Global Entrepreneurship Week from 8 to 10 November.
After the first virtual version of the conference last year, this year's activities will combine face-to-face and virtual events.
This edition comes under the strategic sponsorship of the Qatar Investment Authority, Qatar Science and Technology Park as platinum sponsor, and golden sponsorship from Qatar International Islamic Bank, in addition to many national partners representing ministries and high-level governmental and semi-governmental entities, as well as international partners such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft and the Economic Forum Global.
With the beginning of the decline of “Covid-19” pandemic’s impact around the world and the concerted efforts of entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium companies towards finding a foothold in the new economy in an environment in which digital transformation is accelerating, Qatar Development Bank, through the Qatar Entrepreneurship Conference, seeks to emphasize the necessity of entrepreneurs adapt to the new global economy while integrating technology and digital solutions into their businesses to deliver added value and harness innovative solutions.
