Beirut: The Lebanese Army is continuing to strengthen its deployment in the south after the implementation of a ceasefire agreement, in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) and under UN Security Council Resolution 1701. This comes in the wake of the recent Israeli aggression on Lebanon. According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese Army stated that it is closely monitoring ongoing Israeli violations, while its units continue to carry out operations, including raids across various regions in search of wanted individuals. Additionally, the army is reinforcing its presence along the northern and eastern borders in preparation for any potential developments, particularly during this critical period that requires cooperation from all parties for the sake of national interests.
