Lebanese Hezbollah threatens to target Haifa with missiles

Hezbollah threatened to target Haifa in northern Israel and other cities if the Hebrew state continues its intensive campaign to bomb Lebanon, which has been ongoing for more than two weeks. Hezbollah said in a statement, "The Israeli enemy's persistence in attacking our honorable people in all parts of steadfast Lebanon will make Haifa and other than Haifa, for the resistance's missiles, like Kiryat Shmona, Metula, and other border settlements with Lebanon," which are areas that the party's fighters have been bombing almost daily for a year. The statement added: "This is what the enemy and its settlers saw in Haifa and its surroundings on Tuesday," while the Israeli army announced that it had monitored the launch of about 85 missiles from Lebanon towards areas in northern Israel, including the city of Haifa, confirming that most of the missiles coming from Lebanon were intercepted.
