Lebanese President and Egyptian Counterpart Discuss Israeli Attacks on Lebanon

Lebanon: Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and the course of the Israeli attacks on Lebanon in a telephone call with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on Tuesday. During the conversation, both leaders emphasized the importance of regional stability and mutual cooperation to address ongoing challenges.

According to Qatar News Agency, El-Sisi affirmed that Egypt supports Lebanon, including its government, people, and military, and stands in solidarity with the country during the current circumstances Lebanon is facing. He highlighted Egypt's commitment to assisting Lebanon in overcoming the challenges posed by the recent attacks.

El-Sisi noted that Egypt has dispatched humanitarian aid to support ongoing efforts to care for the displaced people in Lebanon who were forced to leave their homes due to the Israeli actions. The aid is part of Egypt's broader initiative to provide relief and support to affected individuals and communities in Lebanon.
