Lebanese Soldier Injured by Israeli Occupation Forces’ Gunfire in Southern Lebanon

Kfar Kila: A member of the Lebanese army was injured on Sunday by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire in southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces fired near Fatima Gate in the village of Kfar Kila, southern Lebanon, injuring one Lebanese soldier.

In a related development, the Emergency Health Operations of the Ministry of Health announced that Israeli forces’ gunfire on a civilian in the village of Kfar Kila caused serious injuries, leaving the individual in critical condition.

Yesterday, a person was killed and another injured in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon.

On November 27, an agreement for a ceasefire in southern Lebanon came into effect, requiring Israeli forces to withdraw from the border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within sixty days. Subsequently, the Lebanese government agreed to extend the deadline until February 18. Israeli forces have withdrawn from all villages and towns except for five points.
