Nabatieh: A Lebanese army soldier and several members of his family were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a town in southern Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese army stated that a soldier was killed along with several members of his family due to an Israeli airstrike targeting their home in the town of Kfar Rumman in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon.

Earlier, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that nine people were killed and 13 others were wounded in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling that targeted several towns in southern Lebanon.

This escalation constitutes a violation of the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, which came into effect on April 16 and was later extended for three weeks.
