Damascus, With Arab and local participation, the Syrian Society of Neurological Surgery (SSNS), held the 24th annual conference on Wednesday at Ebla al-Sham Hotel in Damascus, entitled 'Towards a New Future in Neurosurgery'. In a press statement, Secretary of the Society, Dr. Wardan Tamer, underscored the importance of the conference, as the diversed lectures and practical sessions shed light on the latest developments regarding spinal and brain surgery field. A number of neurosurgeons from different countries discussed the latest developments and innovations related to this specialty and the history of neurosurgery in Syria from 50 years ago until now, while 300 neurologists from various Syrian provinces attended the conference.
