Maariv poll: 56% of Israelis support unity government

A poll showed on Friday that the ruling Likud party would win 24 seats if general elections were held in Israel today. The ruling Likud party tops the list of Israeli parties and achieves its best result since October 7. According to a poll conducted by the Israeli newspaper Maariv, the Blue and White party led by Benny Gantz continues to decline and could win 21 seats if elections were held today. 41% of Israelis consider Netanyahu the most suitable person to head the government, while 40% prefer Gantz. 47% of Israelis consider Netanyahu the most suitable person to head the government, and 34% prefer opposition leader Yair Lapid.
