Maysan Police Carries Out A Massive Inspection Campaign In Villages And Districts Of The Governorate To Search For Those Wanted By Judiciary

Maysan Governorate police detachments carried out a pre-emptive security operation targeting villages and remote areas of Al-Kahla district, east of the governorate, to search for wanted persons against whom judicial arrest warrants were issued.

The Police Command said in a statement, a copy of which was received by the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “A security force from the Regimental Affairs Command, Maysan Tactical Regiment, and Al-Kahla Police Department, in addition to a military force from Maysan Operations Command, carried out a large security operation and exercise that included villages and remote areas belonging to Kahla district.”

It added: “The campaign included searching neighborhoods, agricultural and remote areas, raiding the dens of traffickers and drug users, searching for wanted persons involved in terrorist and criminal crimes, as well as seizing unlicensed weapons, indicating that this operation aims to impose the prestige of the state and enforce the law.”
