Mikati holds the international community responsible for pressuring Israel to stop its ongoing aggression

Baghdad, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati held the international community responsible for pressuring Israel to stop its ongoing aggression and oblige it to implement international resolutions. Mikati said in a statement: "The Israeli killing machine has not had enough of targeting Lebanese areas in the south and the Bekaa, reaching the depths of the capital Beirut, and just meters away from one of the largest hospitals in Lebanon. This criminal act that took place tonight is a link in a chain of aggressive operations that are killing civilians in clear and explicit violation of international law and humanitarian law. This is a matter that we place at the disposal of the international community, which must assume its responsibilities and exert full pressure to oblige Israel to stop its aggression and threats and implement international resolutions." He added: "We reserve our full right to take all measures that contribute to deterring the Israeli aggression. I have called on the Council of Ministers to convene tomorrow and I call on all ministers to participate." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
