The Military Intelligence Directorate announced today, Tuesday, the seizure of 40 kilograms of heroin in Anbar.
A statement to the Directorate's media stated, "Through a pre-emptive process and a distinguished intelligence effort, and according to accurate intelligence information from the Al-Jazeera Operations Command Section of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and in coordination with a force from the Command Reconnaissance, a large quantity of drugs estimated at (40) kilograms of heroin was seized in the desert of Al-Shamiya, Al-Jamsa region of Al-Anbar Governorate.
It added, "The seizures were dealt with according to the applicable contexts."
