Doha: HE Minister of Environment and Climate Change Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie met Monday with representatives of several think tanks organizations in the United States who assumed critical positions in the consecutive US governments, on the sidelines of their participation in Qatar Economic Forum (QEF) set to kick off on Tuesday. During the meeting, the US delegation was briefed on Qatar-backed efforts and vision pertaining to climate change issues at the regional and global levels, as part of the State of Qatar's international obligations. Additionally, the meeting discussed a range of national milestones to achieve the sustainable development, which included adoption of clean energy, optimal utilization of war, air quality improvement, as well as increasing green spaces and hosting the 2022 Qatar World Cup as a first carbon neutral tournament in the history of football world cup championships.
