Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro announced the return of (379) displaced persons who were residing in the Baharka camp in Erbil to their original areas of residence in the governorates of Nineveh and Salah al-Din. The Minister said in a statement, "The areas of (Nineveh Baaj - Mosul - Salah al-Din, Balad District - Mosul Al-Karamah - Al-Hamdaniya, Tarjla Village) witnessed today the return of (379) displaced persons who were in the Baharka camp in Erbil Governorate, in cooperation with the regional authorities and the United Nations." Jabro pointed out the continued desire of displaced families in the Kurdistan camps to return to their original areas of residence voluntarily, directing the ministry's cadres to include those who have recently returned from the camps with financial grants, relief aid, and durable goods.
