London: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met Monday in London with HE Minister for the Middle East and North Africa at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office Hamish Falconer.

According to Qatar News Agency, discussions during the meeting focused on the close ties between the two nations and ways to bolster them. The ministers also addressed developments in the region, particularly in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, Syria, and Lebanon.

HE Falconer expressed gratitude to the State of Qatar for its efforts that facilitated the release of a female British citizen under the Gaza ceasefire deal and the exchange of hostages and prisoners.
