Doha: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, engaged in significant discussions with HE Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkiye, Mehmet Simsek, during the Qatar Economic Forum 2025. The focus of their meeting was to explore avenues for strengthening trade and investment ties between Qatar and Turkiye, alongside deliberating on collaborative efforts to bolster economic relations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Al-Sayed also conducted a meeting with a business delegation from Oklahoma, USA, led by the state’s Secretary of Commerce, Deborah Moorad Watts. The discussions centered around potential trade and investment partnerships between Qatar and Oklahoma. The meeting highlighted the importance of fostering collaborations between public and private sectors in both regions, aiming to enhance economic cooperation and mutual interests.
