Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets President of Saudi Human Rights Commission

Geneva: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met Tuesday with HE President of the Saudi Human Rights Commission Dr. Hala Al Tuwaijri, on the sidelines of the 58th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva. During the meeting, they discussed the cooperative relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them. They also discussed the efforts of both countries in the fields of human rights and women’s empowerment, in addition to several topics of common interest.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting highlighted the shared commitment of both nations to advance human rights agendas and support women’s empowerment initiatives. The discussions are seen as a continuation of the ongoing dialogue and cooperation between the two countries in international forums, aiming to align their efforts in promoting and protecting human rights on a global scale.
