Doha: HE Minister of Transport Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al-Thani on Wednesday met with HE Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications of the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of transportation, mobility services, and infrastructure.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers toured the Doha Metro project and received briefings from Qatar Rail professionals about the operational processes, technical capabilities, and network operating systems. This tour provided insights into the latest developments and efficiencies achieved by the metro network.

The delegation also visited Hamad Port and the Hamad Port Visitor Center, where Mwani Qatar professionals briefed them on the port’s operational processes and terminal functions. Discussions included the strategic expansion of commercial ports and their contributions to the national economy.
