Manama, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs; Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development; and Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, visited Youth City 2030. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, gave an overview of the various training courses within Youth City 2030, which is organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in collaboration with its strategic partner, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) The ministers were briefed about the goals of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Tamkeen, and their efforts to improve Youth City 2030. These efforts include introducing new programmes across different fields to meet youth needs and prepare young Bahrainis for the labour market and future roles in the Kingdom. The 13th edition of Youth City 2030 has expanded to include 148 training programmes across five centres. These prgorammes include science and technology, arts and culture, leadership and entrepreneurship, media and entertainment, and sports and health. The city now offers 4,000 training opportunities and has extended its duration to six weeks. Additionally, 73 youth projects will be showcased, supporting youth entrepreneurship. The ministers commended the role of the Ministry of Youth Affairs in supporting young Bahrainis to discover and develop their talents. They highlighted Youth City 2030 as a pioneering initiative that represents the Kingdom's commitment to supporting the youth.
