Doha: The Ministry of Labour wrapped up the first stage of the 'Jahez' professional readiness programme, held in collaboration with Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) and sponsored by Ahli Bank. Jahez aims to provide individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to enhance their career readiness, improve their chances of obtaining their desired jobs, enhance their leadership and teamwork skills, and develop their abilities in creative thinking, helping them achieve their career goals and succeed in their various paths. The launch of the Jahez Professional readiness Programme is part of the ministry's efforts to rehabilitate and develop the skills of the national workforce and increase their competitiveness in the labour market, in line with the country's third national development strategy and its National Vision 2030, which aim to create a radical shift towards a more productive labor market focused on high-skill jobs. The programme is a two-day theoretical training between the Ministry of La bour and Qatar Academy for Finance and Business (QAFB) that covers the most important skills and knowledge needed for job seekers to find the right job in the labour market. Jahez incorporates a comprehensive methodology to ensure the maximum benefit for its participants, numbering this year 140 fresh high school and university graduates.
