The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has called upon companies to use the automatic residence permit (RP) renewal service on MOI online platforms, namely MOI e-services portal and Metrash2 mobile app. This service allows companies to renew the RPs of their employees regardless of their numbers in one application, without the need to have access to the data of each employee and get employee's transactions done individually.

MOI said that the automatic RP renewal service is a feature that can be availed by companies that have a large number of employees and laborers.

Figures issued by MOI have revealed that the number of RPs renewed during the first half of 2021 reached 910882 transactions, whether for individuals or companies, including above 305,000 RP renewal transactions via the Metrash2 mobile app.
