The Ministry of Labour (MOL) and Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) signed yesterday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in localizing jobs in the private sector, through the qualification and training of national human cadres to enter the labor market, and supporting the graduates of Education City's universities for employment.
The MoU was signed by HE Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri, Minister of Labour, and HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Qatar Foundation Vice-Chairperson and CEO.
The MoU, which was signed on the sidelines during the participation of MOL in QF Alumni Reunion, aims to exchange expertise and policies in relation to developing the performance of national human cadres. This also included benefiting from the expertise and policies of educational centers and institutions affiliated with QF in qualifying and training national human resources to enter the labor market, including Qatar Career Development Center (QCDC), as well as establishing cooperative committees between the two parties.
