Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 index closed on Wednesday at 4,900.31 points, marking an increase of 6.7 points, or 0.14 percent, from the previous trading session’s close of 4,893.61 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading value for the day stood at OMR 21,309,851, which represents a decline of 24.9 percent compared to the last trading session’s value of OMR 28,393,583. The MSX report revealed a decrease in market capitalization by 0.018 percent from the previous day, bringing it to approximately OMR 29.56 billion.
Non-Omani investors were active in the market, recording purchases worth OMR 548,000, which accounted for 2.57 percent of the total trading. Their sales reached OMR 875,000, representing 8.80 percent. As a result, the net investment by non-Omani investors fell by OMR 327,000, a decrease of 6.23 percent.
