Erbil: The Muslim World League (MWL) has strongly condemned the attack on the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MWL's General Secretariat issued a statement on Tuesday denouncing the act as a violation of religious values, international and humanitarian laws, and the sanctity of diplomatic missions.

The statement emphasized the need for respecting diplomatic missions and called for the perpetrators to be held accountable. The MWL also expressed solidarity with the UAE and affirmed the importance of protecting diplomatic premises to maintain international peace and security.
