The Najaf Governorate Police Command issued a clarification regarding the explosion that occurred at dawn today in Maysan neighborhood of Kufa district.
It said in a statement that "the sound of the explosion was caused by a homemade explosive device near a house, which caused only minor material damage, indicating that an investigation has been opened into the accident to find out its circumstances."
