Damascus, The National Earthquake Center announced that the stations of the National Seismological Monitoring Network registered 8 weak tremors in different provinces during the past 24 hours. The center noted in a statement on Thursday that the tremors ranged between 1.4 and 3 degrees on the Richter Scale in areas, east of Hama with magnitudes reaching up to 2.2, 2.8 and 2.9, in in addition to a tremor with magnitudes reaching up to 4.4 in Liwa Iskenderun, while a tremor with magnitudes reaching up to 6.4 in northwest of Lattakia, and another one with magnitudes reaching up to 2.7 in its southwest. The stations also recorded two tremors, the first one with magnitudes reaching up to 4.6, southeast of Tartous and the second with a magnitudes reaching to 4.3 km, south of Tartous near the Syrian-Lebanese border, the center added.
