New Wildfire Forces Mass Evacuations in Northern Los Angeles

Los Angeles: A new wildfire erupted today in northern Los Angeles, California, forcing thousands of residents to evacuate their homes in an area recently devastated by other massive fires. The blaze rapidly spread near Castaic Lake, scorching over 1,400 hectares in less than two hours, driven by strong, hot, and dry winds.

According to Qatar News Agency, evacuation orders have been issued for around 31,000 people living near the lake, located roughly 56 kilometers north of Los Angeles, close to the city of Santa Clarita. This latest wildfire comes as the region continues to grapple with the aftermath of two major fires that claimed over 20 lives and destroyed thousands of structures.
