In its editorial, Al-Arab newspaper stressed that under the leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the State of Qatar became a pillar in promoting peace and managing conflicts worldwide in the context of the efforts of the United Nations institutions, foremost among them the General Assembly, to achieve international peace and sustainable development. In an article of its Editor-in-Chief, Al-Arab noted that High Highness places significant emphasis on enhancing Qatar's role in international organizations, particularly the United Nations, adding that Qatar has been among the first countries to respond to UN calls to support peaceful solutions to conflicts, providing political, humanitarian, and financial support to resolve these global disputes. Al-Arab mentioned that HH the Amir's participation in the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly took place while the Arab region is facing challenging circumstances, especially the tragic events in Gaza and Lebanon. As usual, His Highness focused on addressing Arab, Islamic, and humanitarian issues, particularly the Palestinian cause, calling for a fair and comprehensive resolution to this issue and an end to Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, the newspaper added. Al-Arab concluded by stressing that His Highness also defended the rights of other Arab and Muslim nations, calling for an end to the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and its people. He called for solutions to the problems faced by the people of Syria, Yemen, Libya, and Somalia, emphasizing the need to respect human rights and advocate for peaceful and just resolutions for those long-suffering peoples. Furthermore, he called for a fair and comprehensive solution in Sudan through dialogue, expressing Doha's readiness to expand mediation with UN support. In turn, Al-Watan said that the State of Qatar has consistently affirmed its commitment to multilateral international action, supporting the role of the United Nations and continuing cooperation and partner ship with it to achieve the goals for which it was established. In an editorial, Al-Watan noted that the participation of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, in the work of the United Nations General Assembly serves as a prominent example of Qatars special emphasis on multilateral international action, as well as its commitment to its international duties and conveying a positive image of its civilizational and humanitarian role regarding various global issues and challenges. Additionally, it underscores Qatars important and distinguished presence on the international stage. The newspaper added that the speech of HH the Amir expressed concerns and issues related to Arab, international, and humanitarian matters, which collectively affirm that Qatar will remain true to the values of truth and justice. Naturally, the Palestinian cause has always been a primary concern for Qatar, firstly due to its centrality for Qatar and all Arabs, and secondly due to Qatar's firm belief that resolving this issue is a fundamental condition for the advancement of the entire region and the establishment of security within it. Additionally, the newspaper also noted that HH the Amir's speech emphasized Qatar's effective contribution to international efforts to formulate the essential mechanisms and systems for addressing global challenges, highlighting Qatars active role within the framework of international solidarity to find innovative and promising solutions to international challenges, as well as its significant contribution to efforts to reform the United Nations, including revitalizing the General Assembly and reforming the Security Council. Al-Watan concluded by saying that the speech of HH the Amir reflected the hopes and aspirations of the peoples of the world, emphasizing the values of peace, security, stability, and tranquility. The Peninsula newspaper highlighted in its editorial HH the Amir's statement, which said that "the blatant aggression that befalls the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip today is the most barbaric, heinous and extensive in breaching human values, international charters and norms. This is not a war within the international relations well-known and common concept of war, but rather a crime of genocide by means of using the most sophisticated weapons against a people besieged in a detention camp where there is no escape from the barrage of aerial bombing." It pointed out that the Israeli occupation forces have been using excessive force and aggression and targeting the civilians in Gaza and have now started bombing innocent people in Lebanon, noting that the genocidal action by Israel has claimed thousands of lives including women and children. The newspaper concluded by noting that HH the Amir concluded his speech at UNGA by saying "we affirm that the State of Qatar will spare no effort in working with its international partners and the United Nations to firmly consolidate the pillars of peace, security, sustainable development, human rights and the rule of law at all levels and to address global challenges in order to achieve a better future for all."
