Federal Police forces arrested 9 defendants wanted for various crimes in Baghdad.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement: “The units of the First Division of the Federal Police, in cooperation with the intelligence effort, arrested 9 defendants accused of various legal offenses (kidnapping, theft, quarreling, carrying unlicensed weapons).”
It added: "The operations were carried out as a result of the implementation of the duties of arrest warrants and security practices in the areas of (Al-Obaidi, Al-Nahrawan, Al-Zaafaraniya, Al-Karada, Al-Awadel, and Al-Kargouliya) in Baghdad, noting that all the defendants were referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against them." .
