The Israeli occupation army announced Wednesday that four soldiers were killed and three others were seriously injured an improvised explosive device (IED) in the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah. According to a statement by the occupation army, the four soldiers were killed after entering a booby-trapped building in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah, Radio Israeli reported. In the same incident, an officer and two soldiers in the Shaked Battalion were seriously wounded, and two soldiers of the battalion were moderately wounded, the military said. In a separate incident on Tuesday, an officer in the Givati Brigades Reconnaissance Unit was seriously hurt by RPG fire in Rafah, the military added. Source: Qatar News Agency
