Manama, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Oil and Environment Minister and the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Rashad Faraj Director of the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage ARC-WH. The minister praised the role of the ARC-WH in preserving Bahraini and Arab heritage, emphasising the importance of increasing cooperation and joint work between the Supreme Council for Environment and the ARC-WH to achieve common goals in the field of preserving Arab heritage. The meeting discussed topics of common interest, especially in implementing environmental initiatives and programmes focusing on biodiversity. For his part, Faraj lauded the efforts and achievements of the Kingdom locally, regionally and internationally in the fields of preserving the environment and heritage. Source: Bahrain News Agency
