Oil prices closed lower at the end of Monday's trading session, marking their lowest level in more than a month. Brent crude futures fell by 23 cents, or 0.3 percent, to settle at $82.40 per barrel, the lowest level since June 11. Similarly, the futures for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for August delivery, which expired today, dropped by 35 cents to reach $79.78 per barrel, its lowest level in a month.
