The Omani national team delegation arrived today, Tuesday, at Basra Airport to play its match against the Iraqi national team on Thursday (2024/9/5) at Basra International Stadium, which is part of the first round of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup. The Omani delegation was received by Basra Governor Asaad Al-Eidani, First Deputy Chairman of the Iraqi Football Association Ali Jabbar, Federation member Ahmed Al-Moussawi, Federation Secretary-General Mohammed Farhan, and Head of the Sub-Federation in Basra Badr Nasser. The Omani delegation praised the great facilities provided at the airport, the smooth completion of all administrative matters, as well as the good reception and hospitality.
