According to Qatar News Agency, the goal arrived as late as the 87th minute when Al Ahli's German professional Julian Draxler executed a bicycle kick, leaving spectators and opponents in awe. The attacking midfielder capitalized on a well-placed lob from Erik Exposito, positioning himself perfectly for the decisive strike.

The play began with Oumar Sekou maneuvering from the left to the right outside the box before passing to Exposito, setting the stage for Draxler's impressive finish. Draxler's kick, made with his extended right leg, found the right corner of the net.

This victory propelled Al Ahli to the third position in the standings, accumulating 28 points, while Al Khor remains at the bottom with seven points. Al Khor had managed to hold off Al Ahli's challenge until late in the match, despite missing a crucial opportunity just past the hour mark. Aymen Hussein failed to control a cross from Spaniard Aitor Garcia Flores, missing a chance to score with an open net.

Both teams fought hard, making the breakthrough seem elusive until Al Ahli's intensified efforts in the closing minutes paid off. In the 85th minute, Al Ahli experienced a close moment when a Sekou attempt narrowly missed, skimming over the top center of the crossbar.
