Pakistani security forces announced Friday the killing of two militants in the eastern Punjab province. The statement explained that the operation was carried out in the Dera Ghazi Khan district in the eastern Punjab province based on intelligence information. Commenting on the operation, Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, said that the Counter-Terrorism Force thwarted a plot he described as "terrorist", expressing his appreciation for the Counter-Terrorism Force's campaign to eliminate armed groups in the country.
