Palestinian Ambassador identifies priorities of the State of Palestine at the current stage

The Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, identified the priorities of the State of Palestine at the current stage, stating: "What is happening in the genocide war in the occupied Palestinian territories in general, and in the Gaza Strip in particular, aims to liquidate the Palestinian cause and prevent the Palestinian people from exercising their right to freedom, independence and the establishment of their independent state with al-Quds as its capital." Ambassador Al-Ruwaidi said in a press statement on the occasion of the first anniversary of the genocide war on the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian people: "The brutal Israeli aggression does not only target humans, but has extended to destroying the infrastructure and has led to the exacerbation of the humanitarian situation, as the occupation did not stop at bombing civilians, killing them and mutilating their bodies, but also starved them and cut off all means of life from them, making the Strip a cemetery for the living." He explained: "The priorities of the State of Palestine at this stage are: 1. A comprehensive and complete cessation of the war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the entry of humanitarian aid in implementation of Security Council Resolution (2735), securing international protection for the Palestinian people, and enabling the State of Palestine to assume its responsibilities in the Gaza Strip to exercise its full sovereignty over it, including the management of the crossings, emphasizing the complete withdrawal of the Israeli occupation, rejecting the annexation or exclusion of any part of it, and stopping the forced displacement of its residents. 2. Implementing the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice and emphasizing the imposition of sanctions on the occupying state, as stated in General Assembly Resolution (A/RES/ES-10L24), and emphasizing the importance of holding an international peace conference within a year under the supervision of the United Nations to resolve all remaining issues. 3. Protecting inte rnational organizations, especially "UNRWA" in the face of its dismantling and ending its work in the region by classifying it as a terrorist organization, targeting its buildings and employees, and cutting off its funding, while emphasizing not replacing it and ensuring that it receives permanent and sustainable insurance until the refugees return to their homes. 4. Activating Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, which stipulates taking coercive measures such as activating military force and severing diplomatic relations to achieve urgent and comprehensive peace in the region, which also stipulates providing international peacekeeping forces by a Security Council resolution to ensure the security of the two states. 5. Mobilizing international support to obtain full membership in the United Nations. 6. Imposing the authority of the Palestinian government and the Palestine Liberation Organization on the Palestinian territory designated according to international legitimacy, namely the West Bank, the G aza Strip and al-Quds, and preparing to hold Palestinian elections. 7. Implementing and supporting the Palestinian government in its program based on 4 axes: national unity, financial and economic sustainability, reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, strengthening the Palestinian institution and reforming what needs reform in it. The Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, stressed that what is required is quick and urgent work to end the conflict, not manage it, as we cannot leave the matter until the time comes when the parties are ready to negotiate. Al-Ruwaidi thanked all friendly countries that stood with the Palestinian people to stop this heinous crime that is being committed against them and aims to exterminate them. He extended special thanks to Iraq, its presidency, government and people, who stood with the Palestinian people in their ordeal since the first day of the Israeli aggression on Gaza and provided political, financial and humanitarian support that would enable the Palestinia n people to remain steadfast. He called for an end to the aggression, worked to bring in aid, received the wounded and sick, and moved in international organizations to hold the occupier accountable for its crimes. He expressed a clear position on the necessity of giving the Palestinian people their right to freedom and independence and to establish their independent state with al-Quds as its capital.
