Palestinian Child Martyred by Israeli Gunfire South of Nablus

Nablus: A Palestinian teenager was martyred early Friday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, the 16-year-old was shot by Israeli occupation forces in the plains near the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya. WAFA, the Palestinian news agency, reported that the incident occurred in a tense area where confrontations between Palestinian residents and Israeli forces have been frequent.

WAFA added that Israeli occupation forces withheld the child's body after preventing Palestinian Red Crescent teams from reaching the scene. The withholding of the body has led to heightened tensions in the region, with local communities expressing outrage over the incident.
