Palestinian Foreign Ministry Condemns Israeli Demolitions, Forced Displacement

Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the large-scale demolition of homes by Israeli forces in the Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams refugee camps in the northern occupied West Bank: These actions have resulted in the forced displacement of over 40,000 Palestinians, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement issued on Saturday, the Ministry described these acts as ethnic cleansing and forced displacement, aligning with Israeli plans to consolidate control and annex the West Bank, including East Jerusalem.

The Ministry emphasized its ongoing efforts to address the plight of the Palestinian people with international bodies, investigative committees, special rapporteurs, and UN officials. It called for genuine international intervention to compel Israel to cease its aggression and comply with global peace initiatives.

The Ministry reiterated that a negotiated political solution is the key to resolving the conflict, warning that military approaches only exacerbate the situation.
