Palestinian PM and Egyptian FM Address Tensions in Gaza and West Bank

Palestine: Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed Mustafa and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aati engaged in discussions on Wednesday concerning the precarious situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the phone talks focused on efforts to stabilize the region and reinforce the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression towards the Palestinian people.

Mustafa expressed appreciation for Egypt’s initiatives, hoping these efforts will establish the conditions necessary to convene the Gaza reconstruction conference in Cairo. This conference aims to gather funds and support for the Arab-Islamic plan dedicated to the reconstruction of Gaza.

During their conversation, both parties agreed to maintain coordination leading up to the conference.
