The leadership decided, according to the statement read by the official spokesman for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, to invite the heads of the Palestinian political factions to an emergency meeting to discuss and agree on a comprehensive national vision and unite the ranks to confront the Israeli aggression. The leadership affirmed the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves against the aggression and that the mission of the Palestinian Authority is to protect the Palestinian people, and to put all its capabilities for this purpose, urging everyone to shoulder their responsibilities in this matter, with an emphasis on adherence to the international legitimacy and international law.

The leadership also decided to immediately go to the UN Security Council to implement Resolution 2334 and the resolution on international protection for the Palestinian people, the halt on unilateral measures, impose sanctions on the occupying state and call on the International Criminal Court to expedite its proceedings on referred cases.

The Palestinian leadership called for the ongoing international commission of inquiry in the Human Rights Council to investigate and refer its findings regarding the responsibility of the occupation for these massacres and acts of terrorism to the International Criminal Court and the UN Security Council, noting the act on the Arab, Islamic and international levels to support the Palestinian stance.
