Hebron-Ma'an- The Palestinian Public Relations Forum, in partnership with the Hebron Chamber of Commerce, organized the first forum and exhibition for universities and high school students. Eng. Alaa Zaloum, head of the Palestinian Public Relations Forum, pointed out that despite the difficult circumstances experienced by the Palestinian people, the genocide our people in the Gaza Strip are being subjected to, and the state of instability experienced by the West Bank governorates, we were able to hold this meeting and gather most of the most important Palestinian universities in one place at the Childhood Happiness Theater in Hebron, where high school students were able to learn about the universities and inquire about the specializations that suit them. Zaloum added that what also distinguished this conference was the presence of specialists and guides who gave guiding lectures to students about how to choose their specializations according to scientific criteria and systems that help them make the most ap propriate choice. Abdo Idris, Chairman of the Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, also stressed the need for cooperation between the private sector, universities and relevant authorities to contribute to supplying the Palestinian market with the required specializations that would reduce the unemployment rate and fill the vacancies needed in the future with regard to related global trends. Atef Al-Jamal, Director General of Education in Hebron, congratulated the high school students on their exams, noting that the results are now out. He urged the students and their families to take into consideration the circumstances that our Palestinian people are living in and not to get carried away with manifestations of joy when the results are announced, while our people are being subjected to a war of extermination in the Gaza Strip. In turn, the participating Palestinian universities expressed their readiness to participate in more upcoming exhibitions, given the great turnout that this forum witnesse d from students and their families, as Dr. Muhammad Al-Haroub, Director of Al-Quds Open University, Hebron Branch, said. Student Mayar Al-Natsheh expressed her great satisfaction at being able to visit all the universities in the country under one roof and learn about all the specializations she wanted to learn about, while student Nidal Karajah expressed his admiration for what was presented by the educational speakers who, as he said, opened up new horizons of thought for him that would help him choose the specialization that suits his personality. In turn, the spokesman for the forum and public relations, media professional Adel Agrib, confirmed that this success and the large attendance of the forum made them take a decision at the Public Relations Forum that this forum would be the first edition and that there would be other editions in the coming years.
